News Of Our Death Has Been Greatly Exaggerated

Posted Tue, 23 Nov 2021 22:41:50 +0000

Like a phoenix from the flames, rctspace.com and rct.com rises and lives.

I'm very pleased to confirm that ownership of rctspace.com and rct2.com is being transferred to a new owner, and the sites will not die after all.

The new owner is a leading light in the OpenRCT2 community, who wants to preserve the years and years worth of content here. They will host the content as 'read only' before deciding how it should be managed and supported in the future. Transfer of the sites to the new owners server is already in progress.

Perhaps the next announcement will be by the new owner themselves. Who knows?

(cancelled!) Closing Time

Posted Mon, 06 Sep 2021 20:50:18 +0000

Farewell all my RCT friends

It is that time.
The RCTspace Network will be closing it's doors and turning out the lights for the final time.  At the end of September 2021 we will be retiring the forums and feature sites.  Over the past couple decades, we have had the best of times here with you all and created so very many friendships and memories.  You all will be missed.

In the remaining time, I urge you to gather the items you personally want to save and give them a special home.

Until we meet again...
